Similar to last year, I was able to work & attend the Gentlemen of Distinction Gala for Hope Cancer Resources! Hope Cancer Resources raised $239,000 this year, and they use all the money they raise to help those battling cancer pay for what they cannot support themselves. The money is used for transportation to and from treatments, to help pay for treatments, and give them the great care that they deserve throughout their battle.
As for my volunteering, the business I work for supplies the clothing for the Fashion Show portion of the event. I spent multiple hours before the show building looks and doing fittings with the models, and spent 11 hours the day of the show at John Q. Hammons prepping the dressing room and dressing the models.
If you have any questions or need clarification call my boss Monica Terminella 479-442-7525.

During the course of the fundraiser:
I got to the benefit at 12 to run rehearsals and worked with the Gentlemen of Distinction who were walking in the fashion show and was there setting up until the benefit started from 6-10 where the fashion show took place as well as auctions to raise money for Hope Cancer Resources. 10-10:30pm was packing up the clothes that the men wore and cleaning up.
