Miracle League is one of my favorite events every year and I was excited to be back for another series of games. These kids are all sweet and phenomenal in their own right so being able to volunteer for them and their families is always the best time and very rewarding.
Night to Shine is always one of the most rewarding nights of the year!! I have worked this event for 3 years now and doing it with some of my best friends is always incredibly fulfilling.
I helped set up and then worked a booth for the Vandergriff Spring Carnival from 2:30 until it was over at 7. I worked with other volunteers to get everything ready outside and then helped with anything the coordinators needed. It's such a great school to work with, everyone is always so welcoming and appreciative.
I worked with three other girls to help in the Vandergriff Elementary School Office, to help them finish preparing for the carnival the following day.
This is a Root Elementary bought hour for the children in need of Christmas gifts this year, I bought a 7 year old girl a pair of boots so that she will have something new and useful to open this year.
