    College for a Day 11-4-16

The goal of this service opportunity was to give back to the community and allow kids to see first hand, the day and life of a college student. In volunteering, the purpose was to encourage and expose to students to the UT college campus and feel.

It was an amazing experience, I was able to give back to the community and enjoy doing it. I bagged groceries at a Food Pantry for homeless and low income individuals. The facilitators were nice and it was a very caring experience. I would do it again and recommend it to others. The food pantry event was located at the University Presbyterian Church, the members and directors were great!

Plate Waste Study- Clean Plate Club

It was a great and fun experience. I really enjoyed this volunteer opportunity and also learned a lot about the amount of food we waste at the Kinsolving Buffet.

    Trash to Treasure Sale

It was a good experience. I primarily folded clothes and helped advertise and inform costumers of the event. I talked about what the event was, the duration, the cost, and how the clothes were donated. It was a nice time, and I kept busy. I would do this event again.
