Dana Lowery

I spent time with the striped kitty in kennel H – 11. She has no name so I would like to call her Kasey. ID A742805
She was very sweet and trying to get attention from the moment I walked up to her kennel. I opened the door to pet her and she reached up to my shoulder. I took her into the cube and she was a little playful but more interested in being petted. She climbed onto my lap and began making biscuits and purring. She was not startled by any outside noises. She was so sweet and friendly that I hated to return her to her kennel.

I also spent some time in the cube with Salem, kennel H – 12, ID A 742907. He got my attention by all his talking. He was very curious in the cube but not interested much in the toys. He was also affectionate and enjoyed being petted.

Animal Services Volunteer Team  10 years ago Hi Dana, Thank you so much for spending time with these kitties! Don't forget - you can submit this information as an observation to be included in the cat's animal record at the shelter, and this will have the most impact since the info can then be shared with visitors. The link to submit these is in the description box of the cat subgroup. Thanks! Sarah

First day to volunteer! Helped feed cats this morning and spent time with some that needed attention, especially some received from a hoarder situation. Can't wait to go back!❤️
