Everything was very organized and Nicole explained clearly our choices for projects at the Veloway.People who volunteered were hard-working and fun. The Veloway is such a special place for cyclists and roller bladers. . I am glad the City resurfaced the track and supports its use. Nicole is a great advocate for the Veloway. In the past, I have helped here for the IMPD and I know that I will return again.

Today's rain did not defeat us!
Our -project leader Bill Kemp was very organized. At the start, we had a really neat brief talk from Mr. Hutchison, a City of Austin plant expert, on invasive species and how to identify Ligustrums. I spread wood chips and dragged the cut branches to the pile that we created. It was fun to meet and work with neighbors in Travis Country and those who do not live here!.
