SGA Town Hall/ Q&A meeting with PGCC's President (October) [Virtual]

Attending the SGA Town Hall meeting was a good experience. I learned more about what is happening at the school and the different resources available to students. I also had the opportunity to hear answers to important questions and learn about changes that may affect students. Overall, the meeting helped me better understand what the college offers and where students can go for support.

Stress, Burnout, and the Pressure to Succeed (Mental Health/Wellness Mini-Session

I learn the stress and burnout can affect my mental health, specially when I feel pressure to succeed in school and life. I learned the importance of recognizing the sings of stress and taking breaks before I feel overwhelmed. I can manage stress by organizing my tasks, getting enough rest, and asking for help when I need it. This session taught me that success is important, but taking care of my mental health is important too.

AA vs AS vs AAS Degrees (Academic Wellness - Mini-Session)

This is my first time, meeting into a mini session. I like how well was explained every Degree. Giving us examples about what type of job we can applied with each degree and also providing us a link to find job, related to our degree. This is very helpful because many people are learning important information, that might not know. It help me a lot, in deciding what kind of job, I will be focusing on.
