During this refresh session, I got a more clear understanding about the scholarship. On how to maintain it and engage in the program to succeed during my academic school year. I was able to engage by asking any questions and concerns I had as well as interacting with the program coordinators.
By doing the impact of meeting with an academic advisor I got a more understanding about my progress here at PGCC. I had questions about my current major and the current classes I am currently taking. I left with a clear understanding and no unanswered questions.
After attending the Promise Scholarship Orientation, it helped me better understand the purpose of the program, the opportunities available in the program, and the responsibilities that come by being in this program. I learned that this program is not just a financial support but an opportunity to receive help and resources that can help me reach my academic and career goals.
