This session was very good. I learned how to prepare for an academic semester by meeting with an advisor, scheduling my classes, and making sure the classes are for my major.

This was a really good session because I got to learn about the differences between stress and burnout and a few ways to cope with both. I also learned about the counseling sessions PGCC offers just in case you ever need that extra support.
I think this was a good mini-session. I learned the difference between the 3 types of degrees, and something new I learned was that for most majors, you can't take more than 60 credits, but some PGCC majors allow up to 65–70
I attended the "What Employers Actually Want: Introduction to NACE Competencies" workshop. Through this, I learned the difference between skills and competencies, as well as what the NACE competencies are.
I attended the "Virtual Interviewing - Success Tips" workshop with Alicia M. Jackson-Warren as the presenter. I learned how to dress for an interview and the type of environment you need to be in for a virtual interview.
This meeting was very informative because I got to learn about some concerns with using AI in the colleges, among other things.
I attended the Office of Career Development and Internships’ “Soft Skills to Get and Keep a Job” virtual workshop. I learned about the different soft skills employers like, and I also learned about what to do and what not to do in an interview.
I attended the 'Build Your Resume with Little or No Experience' workshop, where I learned about the different components of a resume, what to include, and how to use action verbs and quantifying words to make it stronger. I also learned about the different types of resumes, among other things.
I attended the Let's Talk: Freedom of Expression & the Constitution event. I learned about the First Amendment and how we are allowed to safely exercise that right at PGCC.
This mini-session was very helpful because it made me learn more about GivePulse. Something I learned that I didn't know before is that you should put in hours in fifteen-minute increments, otherwise they won't be calculated accurately
