I went to a mini session for my promise scholarship. The session was "Read the Room" hosted by Chantia Sharber. She showed us how to navigate college waters and what we are expected to know going into college but might not have learned. At the start she showed us what a professional and unprofessional email looks like for an email. She had us point out what the incorrect email was missing. She explained that texting someone like your friend verses your professor or employer is different. You have to be more professional talking to your professor/employer. She also explained what should and should not be in an email.

I went to the game after class with a couple of friends to hang out and see and support our team.
During the meeting they explained the differences in degrees they offer here at the college. At PGCC an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science are designed as transfer programs focused on humanities, social sciences, or STEM fields to help you seamlessly move on to a four-year university after completing your first two years. An Associate of Applied Science is a career-focused program emphasizing hands-on, practical training and specialized coursework, such as in nursing or technology, to prepare you to enter the workforce directly upon graduation.
I went with a few friends to the game. It was COLD outside and windy but we had fun
Just like the womens soccer game it Was cold and wet but I was with friends and had fun.
I went to the game around 11. It was chilly and wet but I met up with friends and enjoyed my time. No one really scored goals in the beginning of the game but many shots were taken.
Inside the student center we had to do an attendance form. I met up with a group of friends and we were talking and having fun. We sang some songs on a stage and did an event evaluation.
They started by announcing who was there and doing a role call. The sga president explained her job being president and how to get involved in sga. She explains that we have a duty to respect the resources on campus. She explained owl safety to stay alert and gave us qr codes to download apps to keep us safe. In the meeting they also talked about upcoming voting and to vote early
I attended the mini session explaining in depth how to use givepulse. Mr. Elio Cruz explained to us how to register for an event, how to cancel for one, how to find events. He explained how we should not make the impacts private so they can see them. He also showed us how to go back into givepulse and put in our hours for past events.
