PGCC Women's Soccer vs Montgomery College (MD)

The second game I went to was the women’s game. I went with my friends and they gave us free snacks. The Montgomery women’s team were really tough espically the goal keeper. But Pgcc did give them pressure it was a good game.

PGCC Men's Soccer vs Montgomery College (MD)

It was great experience watching the men’s soccer game. It was my first time attending to one of their games. Sadly they lost but I enjoyed watching. I changed the time because they moved the game to 3:00

AA vs AS vs AAS Degrees (Academic Wellness - Mini-Session)

The meeting I attended taught me about the differences between AA, AS, and AAS degrees. I learned that an AA and AS degree can help students transfer to a four-year college to continue their education and earn a bachelor’s degree. I also learned that an AAS degree focuses more on preparing students for a specific career. Overall, the meeting helped me understand the different college degree options and how choosing the right degree can help me reach my future educational and career goals.

SGA Town Hall/ Q&A meeting with PGCC's President (September) [Virtual]

Today was a great experience talking with the president. Also meeting the SGA team for the first time was great especially how there roles for the school gives a big impact to the community. I can see how they give a lot of effort running the school and keeping it on track.

GivePulse Demo Training (Mini Sessions - Personal Enrichment)

So in todays mini session we talked about how GivePulse is used and whether we have questions and concerns. It was very helpful because there was some features I didn't know existed in GivePulse. For example the calendar feature where you can see events being scheduled and etc. To me it is very useful and makes it more easier to track dates.

    Deeply Rooted Celebration

I actually enjoyed the event I attended. The reason is we made reflections of ourselves and see how we can relate to plants we adopted. Most of the plants that were shown to us, had different meanings.

LAUNCH New Promise Orientation (August 5th Attendees only)

This was a great experience because, we had the opportunity to tour around the campus. Also, we were given more information on how the promise scholarship worked. Another thing we did was playing kahoot, that was a fun way to loosen up.
