I learned the differences between AA, AS, and AAS.
AAS is designed for you to go straight into the work force. It’s a foot into the door but if you plan on transferring it’s not easy to do.
I learned a lot and thankful for the opportunity to attend
In this session the coordinators went into detail what the difference between all the degrees that PGCC offers. I appreciated the fact that they went in depth because it helped me choose what path to take for my future and dream goals.
This mini-session was very important and helpful. I can now distinguish the difference between A.S. and A.A.S. This helps my pathway because I can decide what I want to do after PGCC. Additionally, Ms. Carter shared important information about universities that accept A.A.S.
I have learned more about AA, AS, and AAS degree types and what their purposes are. I got to learn more about my type of associate's degree which is an AA degree and gave me a refresh on what I can do with my associate's. I also learned that I can certifications along with or after my associate's.
It was a good meeting, I learned a lot.
