Something that I would reflect on the "SGA Town Hall meeting" would be about the importance of staying safe during campus. They mentioned about the importance of communicating and sharing any concern with our peers to always stay cautious and help each other stay safe. They also mentioned to always log out completely from the pgcc portal after using it since there are many malicious people that could change our personal information.
I thank the student whoever brought up flock cameras! Because I thought as well that these cameras were used to spy on families car plates. Which can uncover their race. I thank the Chief for saying that these cameras are not assisting ICE , but are only used for investigation purposes.
I learned what to expect in the upcoming year, including plans for the new building and upcoming events.
The SGA Town Hall meeting was great! It was very informative! It was nice to hear all the questions other students and the responses from the PGCC president.
I loved hearing from all the SGA presenters and learned important information from faculty (especially in regards to the code of conduct and OWL Alert). I was really happy to see a friend/presenter in the meeting talk about voter registration and the freedom of speech workshops!
