They were many things that you could help out with, such as painting walls, stenciling, building benches, and mulching. For my part, I did mulching, graveling, and picked up trash around the school. I enjoyed very much and got to meet people from Houston Tillotson University since the elementary school is right from them. Very nice time overall!
It was fun planting trees and landscaping at the front of the school, building benches, painting indoor rooms and doors. The part I loved the most was seeing how much we actually got done in the few hours that we were there. Knowing that the kids would have a friendlier environment was very exciting.
