Glad I had the opportunity to work this event along with meet great people with similar aspirations.

Great experience!

It felt like a good experience contributing to the environment through this volunteer event. I also learned certain gardening tips!

I went to the Concho Community Garden not knowing what to expect. When I got there, it was a smaller fenced in area that needed some work. The beds and pathways of the garden was overgrown with weeds and grass. All we were asked to do was weed out beds. Though it was simple, yet tiring work, you could see the impact that it made to the garden. You were able to see the beauty in the plants that were hidden behind the grass and weeds, and were also able to see the potential beauty in the cleared out beds for the new plants. I really appreciated the experience and plan to do this most Thursdays.
