Community Against Cancer - Get-Well Bag Making

It was such an awesome experience! Love this group

At this meeting, we put 50 bags together for patients going through cancer treatment. The bags included fuzzy socks, lotion, magazines, and wool hats. My grandpa had cancer and I know this stuff helped him so much. I'm so happy to be apart of this community.

I had such a great time packing bags for Hope Cancer Resources! We all went around and packed hats, socks, magazines, coloring books, colored pencils, candy, lotion, tissues, and a pen into each bag. I love Community Against Cancer, and giving back to others with these amazing people!

At this meeting we meet and made gift bags for cancer patients. This was very fulfilling to me knowing I was helping brighten someone's day. I know I would appreciate it so much if someone took a little bit of their time to make gift bags, so I wanted to do that for someone else.

Such a nice and thoughtful volunteering opportunity.
