In this meeting I learned a lot of important information about how to keep my scholarship, maintain it and how to be active with things like group me. I learned about when scholarship money is given and what impacts when and how you get you scholarship funding.
During the Zoom session, an overview was given of the requirements for the scholarship, our majors, the FAFSA, and the graduation procedure. I also gained personal insight from the questions asked by other participants in the program, most of which were based on when the scholarship is applied and how our inability to fulfill requirements might affect us.
The end-of-semester Promise Scholarship meeting was very informative and organized. I learned a lot about the scholarship expectations, including the deadlines. We were told that we must complete all open tasks before December 19, including responding to emails and password resets. Additionally, the 2026-2027 financial aid was discussed, and we should submit it by March 1.
The meeting covered typical and helpful material that I don’t mind being reminded of. For the most part, it was a chill meeting.
