GivePulse Demo Training (Mini Sessions - Personal Enrichment)

We reviewed how to navigate givepulse and log hours. It was particularly important that to know that signing up for events via a web browser is highly recommended over the mobile app. It was great getting an explanation as to why I'd never receive zoom links sometimes.

The session covered the basics of using GivePulse. I was already familiar with navigating around but lacked in some areas such as uploading our impacts that may have not been listed by special scholarships team. Overall, this was great session and glad to have been reminded on different features the platform has to offer.

I attended the GivePulse Demo mini session hosted by Mr. Elio and learned about the latest updates to the platform and how to work through them. One of the most valuable parts was understanding how to add impacts, which helps in better tracking and reporting volunteer activities. Mr. Elio guided us clearly through the new features, showing step-by-step how to enter events and log impacts. One of the most important things was to add a reflection for each impact. Overall, I now feel more prepared to attend events, log impacts, and track my hours.

It was a very helpful session, I learn how to use GivePulse properly, how to change to the classical mode, and also about time limits.

This meeting help me learned how to switch to classic mode on GivePulse, and reflections need to be given (apart from the start and end orientations because those questions at the beginning and the end of the presentation are the feedback), and I can also confirm my present to an event with Imagery. I wonder if it keeps switching to New style when creating an impact because they thought it was confusing and wanted to make it simpler.

Today, I learn about how to go back into the classic view on GivePulse because the new one is giving me problems, but I also learn how to put in hours for an event that isn't in the program's list.

Attending the event, I was able to learn more on the GivePulse website, I was truly confuse on how things were suppose to get down, but today's zoom meeting had really helped clear up any questions I had on submitting my hours. Thank you for making a mini session on this!
