I helped sort shirt sizes and distributed them is boxes in room Frye 107. Also I helped clean out the dean of the honors college office. I had a good time working together with others and I am willing to participate in it again.
On August 15, from 2:00 to 4:30, I volunteered at a local middle school to help improve the learning and STEM spaces. I worked with a small group to repaint several classrooms, giving them a cleaner and more welcoming environment for students and teachers. I also helped organize and sort parts for VEX robots, ensuring that components were properly labeled and easy to access for future robotics projects. This experience was meaningful because it supported both the classroom environment and hands-on STEM learning. Overall, it was rewarding to contribute to the school community while also working together as a team to make a lasting impact.
I thoroughly enjoyed helping sort VEX pieces in the new STEM lab. STEM is something very near and dear to me so being able to help a new generation experience the technology aspect was incredibly rewarding.
Had the opportunity to assist North Carolina A&T's bookstore employees with the labeling, organizing, and shelving of textbooks and other course materials.
