I walked some trails on campus and just picked up trash as I went I also veered of trail looking for more, To be specific, I walked the fayetteville traverse that wraps around campus I loaded 2 bags of trash in my 4 hours hiking.
I went around the trails near my house and picked up trash with a friend! This was an area we have noticed trash on during our walks, so we thought it would be a great place to focus our attention. This was a great way to help keep an area we love clean while also enjoying the weather!
Picking up trash at Frisco Park and Trail this morning was an amazing experience! This simple act supports local wildlife, enhances community pride, and promotes environmental responsibility. Small efforts like this make a big impact on the health and vibrancy of our shared spaces.
A friend and I walked around Wilson Park and the surrounding areas to pick up trash. This was very rewarding as it is an area we frequent!
Over the past weekend, several friends and I spent time collecting trash near major roads and highways in Fayetteville. This was very impactful as I was able to see the difference that people like us are able to make to our town with a little bit of effort!
Over this week I went on long walks with my roommate all around Fayetteville to pick up trash! We started in our neighborhood and found a bunch of trash up and down Rupple road. The next few days we went to different parks and also walked along the greenway. We found all sorts of trash like sonic cups and a bunch of cans. It was such a great way to get outside and get active while also helping the community! I did not take very many pictures but I did take one on when we got back from our first day walking with a bunch of trash!!
Over the past weeked, my friends and I went on a walk both Saturday and Sunday and picked up trash. We walked through campus, throughout the park and down MLK. Each walk was about 2 hours.
