It was amazing being able to interact with the boys and girls at the "Representation Matter: An Ongoing Movement - Not a Moment" event. Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. and other historic men and women who paved the way for the black community.

It was really great to help out with the MLK event for the second time. I loved seeing some of the kids I met the first time again and how they are progressing in life. It's also nice to know that when they see me, they recognize me as someone familiar and someone trying to mentor them.
