Sunday Recycling Sorters | Fall24

I enjoyed sorting the recycling and working with the people there!

Sorted paper, aluminum, glass and bottles.

Met the team and did a ton of paper and bottle sorting !

I took labels off of bottles and sorted them from the cans. I also sorted mixed paper from cardboard and paperboard. I learned a lot about the new sustainability department's initiatives.

Fun!

I'm so glad to have participated in the first Sunday Recycling Sorting! The Union Sustainability Team was super inviting and brought a cheerful energy to what could have been a grim, grimy task. If you're willing to get your hands dirty for a good cause (not too dirty though- they have gloves), it's a great way to use a Sunday afternoon. I'll definitely be back next week.

I loved this volunteer opportunity! It allowed me to meet new people and realize the importance of sorting! I will be coming back. The people were great and it was so convenient.

Thank you for having me! Very informative, I would love to come back!
