I donated one bag of blood. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to the donation and almost passed out. This was in no way the fault of staff, but they made it their problem. Incredible assistance, genuine concern, and generous amounts of snacks were given to me to recover quickly. The American Red Cross did a great job dealing with this issue. I would still donate again.
I am glad I participated in the blood donation exercise. It was a rewarding experience to help save lives and support a noble cause. The staff was friendly and professional, and the process was quick and painless. I would recommend it to anyone who is eligible and willing to donate blood.
