Second Saturday Workday

Furst time volunteer and left with the impression that I made a huge impact helping my community!

Today I helped clean up the earth with a big group of people. I got to touch the soil, pull out weeds, and feel the ground in my hands. It felt peaceful and real. Being outside with others, working together, made me feel happy and calm.
I realized that taking care of the earth isn’t just a job but it’s a way to show love and respect. It reminded me of how, in the past, people worked together to care for their land and each other. I left feeling tired in my body but full in my heart.
