On Monday April 22nd, I donated 40 items to the pantry box sponsored by GCL. On this day, I donated the following items:

x4 canned fruit
x10 canned pasta
x4 canned beans
x6 canned vegetables
x14 baby food

I met a fantastic, wise woman named Ms. Donna Mae! She was a huge help and made the first of my UNCG community service hours resume a knowledgeable and well-rounded experience. Being of the Christian faith (myself), it was eye-opening to experience the culture of Islamic brothers and sisters. Helping an Islamic non-profit masjid was unique. The Islamic Center made a lasting impact on me as an individual; helping organize and clean facilities was insightful! The ability to donate my time and skill set to a more significant cause and increase my knowledge of impacted communities is a great feeling!
