While the rest of UT was participating in round up, I choose to volunteer which i found to be a very rewarding experience as we got to directly impact the community. Again for me, the only negative was not being closer to UT because I don't have a car, but that's not the fault of the organizers, just a personal problem of finding transportation.
Directly reaching out to the community of Austin and having a positive impact is so rewarding and feels great!
