PASO Democracy Project- 2026 Election Canvassing/phonebanking Opportunity

Join PASO (West Suburban Action Project) to connect with neighbors in Melrose Park through our Democracy Project! Volunteers will go door to door to listen to residents’ concerns, share voting information, and encourage participation in the upcoming November 3 election. Our conversations focus on building communities where everyone can live without fear and have access to the resources they need.

This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in community organizing, strengthen communication skills, and learn about issues affecting local communities. Our efforts are nonpartisan, and we do not endorse any candidates.

No experience is needed! We provide training, canvassing materials, and guidance on using MiniVAN, our outreach app. Volunteer shifts are flexible, and we can coordinate around students’ schedules. Bilingual English/Spanish volunteers are especially welcome, but speaking Spanish is not required.

Help us build relationships, amplify community voices, and encourage our neighbors to make their voices heard!
