Purpose
Like You Film Club (LYFC) is committed to providing a safe, positive, and family-friendly environment for all children and youth. This policy helps protect minors, families, and volunteers during LYFC programs and events.
Who This Applies To
All LYFC staff, volunteers, interns, board members, contractors, and partners are required to follow these guidelines.
Family Participation & Supervision

LYFC programs are designed for family participation in public settings.

Children are expected to be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Program staff and volunteers are not responsible for unsupervised children; parental supervision ensures the safety of all participants.

This policy is reviewed annually by the LYFC Board of Directors and updated as needed to reflect current laws and best practices.

In between volunteer duties, you will be able to watch movies or attend workshops (note you may miss the very beginning or end of a film to be present for your volunteer duty).

Parking Details
*If you are arriving during the festival's operating hours (9:30am-8:30pm). You may park anywhere and enter at the Museum's front entrance on the east side of the building.
*If you are arriving for a morning shift (before 9:00am), please park in the back of the museum and enter at the admin entrance, where you will check in with security.
