Prescribed to Death Memorial

Prescribed to Death will be on display on October 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and October 4-9 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The memorial features a wall of pills with 22,000 faces carved into them representing the number of Americans who died of an Opioid Overdose in 2015. ASG is in need of volunteers to help with the memorial. Volunteers will work 3 hour shifts and will provide patrons with information on the memorial. If you cannot serve in a three hour shift, please let us know on the accompanying document. All volunteers will be given talking points by the National Safety Council beforehand. Volunteers are required to wear business casual while volunteering for the memorial. Any questions about the volunteering or memorial should be directed to Trevor Villines tavillin@uark.edu
