Housing Move In 2026: UARK Students, Alumni, & Community Members

Welcome the Newest Razorbacks!

We depend on the hard work and smiling faces of volunteers during Move-In to make a great first impression on the Class of 2030.

Be the friendly face that makes move-in day unforgettable! As a volunteer, you'll roll up your sleeves and help new Razorback students and their families haul boxes, lift furniture, and carry everything from the car to the residence hall, making one of the most exciting (and exhausting!) days of their lives easier. It's hard work, but the smiles and gratitude from families make every trip worth it.

To register as a volunteer for Move-In 2026, please sign up for your shift(s) below. The last day to register is Tuesday, August 4 at 11:59 p.m.

If you are under 18 years of age and would to volunteer, please register here instead.

Volunteers will receive a meal ticket to use at a dining hall on campus upon completion of their assigned volunteer shift, another small token of gratitude.

University Housing respects and values our University of Arkansas and Fayetteville alumni, parents, partners, and community members.  Volunteers are essential to the move-in process and we know that our students would not have the best experience without your participation and hard work. While much of the work is physical and in hot conditions, we believe that this first contact with students sets an example for the rest of students' time at UA. 

Housing reserves the right to make final volunteer assignments based on needs of locations.
