Volunteer with Thrive Mahoning Valley at the Downtown Youngstown Farmers Market

Thrive Mahoning Valley is seeking volunteers to support the Downtown Youngstown Farmers Market on every 2nd and 4th Thursday from approximately 3:00 PM to 7:30/8:00 PM. Volunteers help us create a welcoming, engaging, and well-organized market experience for vendors and guests while supporting Thrive MV’s mission to connect residents to resources and opportunities.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Event set-up: unloading cars, setting up tents, tables, chairs, and other market materials, and helping place vendors.

• During the event: counting guests, welcoming visitors, engaging with attendees, sharing Thrive MV’s mission and work, and assisting with Thrive MV sales.

• Event tear-down: taking down tents, tables, and chairs, loading cars, and helping clean up the event space.

This volunteer opportunity requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the event, including setup and teardown tasks. Volunteers should be comfortable working on their feet and helping with hands-on event support.
