About
Under the direction of the Child and Youth Facilitator, you and your superhero team will meet an hour prior to the Circles program to plan super fun-filled 65 minutes of activities. Volunteers may arrive as early as 3:30 pm to help plan for, prepare, and set up for activities. The activities can range from arts & crafts, super obstacle courses, teaching yoga or other healthy movement, challenging feats of STEM, mind-bending learning games, or making/creating amazing, simple snacks, and more. During the rest of the evening, you will support our Circles team with serving dinner and implementing these activities.
The mission of Weber County Circles is to inspire and equip families and communities to resolve poverty and thrive. The Circles program is a free resource for families who would like to improve their lives by increasing their social capital, improving job skills, and connecting to members of the community. Circles is a long-term program that assists families and individuals in reaching financial stability. Participants and their families meet each Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Dinner is provided for participants, their families, and our Superhero volunteers.
