Litter Mitigation seeding, and invasive removal/prevention at Furtado Creek

We will be clearing the creek bed and banks of trash, pulling up smaller invasive species, removing nandina and ligustrum berries, and gathering then spreading native seed. 

• What to bring and wear 🕶: We’ll provide gloves and tools—you need to come prepared with:
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • long-sleeved shirts and pants
  • Sun protection (sunglasses and a hat) 
  • A full water bottle.
