About
The Yvonne Richardson Community Center offers a free, weekly physical education class for home schooled children. This class teaches the fundamentals of health and physical activity while providing an active and social environment. Each week we focus on a new sport or topic. Past classes have included: soccer, ultimate frisbee, rugby, yoga, Appleseeds Farm to Table, hiking, etc.
We need volunteers to help support facilitators by assisting kids with skills and drills, providing encouragement, and setting a positive example by participating in activities. Please wear comfortable, athletic clothing and tennis shoes.
We are located only 5min from the University of Arkansas!
OFFSITE DAYS:
Kessler Regional Park (weather dependent): September 25, 27; October 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, and 18.
