Nuçi's Space Grounds Upkeep

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Athens MLK Day of Service! Below you will find details about the Day of Service and this specific project.

Event Schedule
Kick-off Event: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Lay Park (297 Hoyt Street)
Volunteer Shift: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Nuçi's Space (396 Oconee Street)

Project Description
We will have a variety of tasks that volunteers can choose to assist with, including some basic gardening, wall repainting, indoor cleaning tasks like sweeping and vacuuming, and trash pickup on our adjacent streets.  Be sure to wear close toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing as the project will largely take place outside.

• This site is for ages 16+.
• Volunteers should wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and dress in layers.
• Bring a filled reusable water bottle.

Registration Notes
Children under 18 should be registered by their parent/guardian. To do this, select "Add Attendee" at the top of the registration page BEFORE submitting your registration form. Check the box that says "Check if minor" and you will then be prompted to enter a first and last name (you do not need to enter an email for a minor). All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate large group registrations. If you have a group that would like to volunteer at the same site, each individual must separately register through GivePulse.
