About
Let's keep our wild habitats healthy! We will be partnering with Keep Austin Beautiful to host a clean-up of the area surrounding the Austin Creative Reuse center.
Volunteers will meet at Austin Creative Reuse to get geared up and assigned to teams. From there, team leaders will lead groups on foot to surrounding places in the neighborhood in need of some TLC. At the end of the event, we will all meet back up at ACR to weigh the trash we recovered and have a contest for the weirdest item found.
Make sure you're ready to get dirty! We'll be focusing on the creek in the area, so make sure to wear sturdy shoes that might be able to get wet. We will supply everyone with a grabber and we will have some hi-vis vests for teams that will be working near roadways and waders for those ready to venture into the creek.
