About
Come join the esp Monday Piranhas swim team from 3:45 pm to 6 pm every Monday starting January 26th at the YWCO! While learning the importance of teamwork, our esp participants will improve their physical fitness in the water with lap swimming and water games. Our esPiranhas program provides purposeful recreation for our participants to learn new skills, gain confidence, strengthen their abilities, and have fun while making lasting friendships.
Training: Monday/Wednesday Volunteers will have training on Wednesday, January 14th and Tuesday/Thursday Volunteers will have training on Thursday, January 15th from 3:45-6:00PM. Mandatory training will be held at the ESP Building (189 VFW Dr. Watkinsville, GA). You do not need to come to both days. This is not where swimming will occur for the 10 week session. Swimming will begin with the participants on January 26th at the YWCO.

Important note: To accept this position, you must commit to all available weeks of this program. You will see these dates after clicking the register button, and then you should click next to all Monday dates shown. This allows us to partner you with a participant, then allows that participant to count on you to be their "buddy" every week!
Age Limit: Volunteers are required to be age 14 or older.
In-person training attendance is preferred. If you need virtual training you must provide a reason (email kate@espyouandme.org). Once the virtual training option is recorded I will link it HERE. If it isn't here then I haven't finished it yet. Thank you for your patience!
