Help support kindergarten through third grade students across Mesa County! Reading Corps is an AmeriCorps program with the mission of ensuring that all students in Colorado are reading proficiently by the end of third grade. The Reading Corps program combines the power of national service with literacy science to deliver proven approaches that help struggling learners transform into confident students – something that translates into all areas of their lives. Join us in collecting books to send home with students to keep up with their learning! We are looking for books that are:
- New condition
- Appropriate for K–3rd grade reading level
- Please avoid books with political, religious, or inappropriate themes
