Whether you want to see the impact you can make in the lives of patients directly or prefer to work behind the scenes, we invite you to become a member of a dedicated group of compassionate volunteers who serve as vital members of our hospice team. Caretenders Hospice of Minnesota - a proud member of the LHC Group family - has been serving Minneapolis and Saint Paul Metro Area for 15 years.

Hospice volunteers often say that helping those in need at a critical point in their lives is profoundly and emotionally meaningful. Volunteers spend their time engaging with patients, reading, playing games, light housekeeping as needed, and simply being a calming presence with them.

Our days and times are flexible and Dana, Volunteer Manager, is willing to work with your schedule to ensure that you and our patients have a positive experience learning and giving back to each other. Come and spend time with our hospice patients 1-2 hours a week!
