About
This food pantry distribution is to help food insecure families in Pitt county and is located in Simpson, NC which is 10 minutes from ECU. Volunteers will help food pantry organizers set up the distribution, give out food and break down/clean up after distribution. Food distribution events occur on the 1st or 3rd Saturday of every month. Help is desperately needed because many families come to get food.
Distribution occurs in "The Hut", a small white house across the street in front of the church. Parking is available on the grass between "The Hut" and the church office buildings.
We work outside the entire time so dress appropriately for the weather. Ask the organizer for your t-shirt before you leave.
