Greetings, we’d like to thank you for volunteering with Keep Austin Beautiful. You'll be giving some extra care to Kenny Dorham's Backyard - Diverse Arts!
Please keep in mind that this is not a staff-led event.
Volunteer tasks include:
•minor lawn maintenance
•clean and organize garden area
•removing old or broken items
•painting interior front fencing
•painting a few benches
Cleanup supplies will be provided on-site. If you prefer you may bring your own gloves.
When picking up litter, Keep Austin Beautiful recommends participants do so responsibly and at their comfort level.
When you finish collecting litter, please dispose of any disposable gloves properly by placing them into your trash bag. Make sure your trash bag is securely tied to protect sanitation workers. After placing the trash bag in the designated trash location, immediately wash your hands with soap and water.
· Things to Bring: A FULL bottle of water, a snack, and sunscreen is highly recommended.
