Clark County Habitat Store Volunteer

Store volunteers help support daily operations by helping receive and process donations, organize and display merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.  We value teamwork, kindness, and dedication to the cause of helping our community achieve strength and stability through affordable homeownership - one used hammer, door, washing machine, couch, or toilet at a time!  No experience required. Under the guidance of the Store Volunteer Lead, Store Volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including creating displays, stocking shelves, organizing, and assisting customers. Time Commitment: No minimum shift requirement. We have volunteer shifts 7 days a week and would love to have you on our team. Shifts occur in 2, 4, or 8-hour blocks from 9am-6pm. Physical Requirements: All abilities welcome! Store volunteers are often on their feet for up to 2 hours, but we have tasks that can be done seated if needed.  Most tasks will include walking, standing, potentially squatting or crouching, pushing carts, and moving items on dollies. We understand this volunteer opportunity will not be the best fit for everyone, and therefore give folks a chance to attend orientation before completing the background check.
