About
We are deploying volunteers to Kerrville to assist families recovering from the recent flood. This is a powerful opportunity to serve in-person and support survivors in both practical and compassionate ways. If you want to bring people to serve alongside you, please make sure they are registered as we are limited on space at this time.
What we will be doing:-
Cleanup work: assist with debris removal, muck-out, and yard clearing
-
Personal items recovery: help families locate and recover lost or scattered personal belongings
-
Must be physically able to perform outdoor labor (cleanup roles, especially)
-
Bring your own equipment if possible: gloves, shovels, rakes, safety gear, etc.
-
Willing to serve with flexibility and a heart to help in multiple ways

Anyone want to carpool in to decrease traffic? I can fit 6 people in my car. We could rendezvous somewhere that has more parking like Boerne and then drive in. I plan on passing through Boerne around 7am.

FYI - I got a call back from ADR just now and they advised NOT to drive out Saturday 7/12 for general labor help as they are still in Heavy Machine Mode.

Anyone have more info on this?
Confirmation they’re ready for us, what tools to bring (if any)? Thanks and see you tomorrow!

just got another call back and it sounds like it IS on (communication got mixed up). This event as stated above is still on.
