Ongoing Volunteer Opportunity

The work of BackPack Beginnings would not be possible without the support of all our amazing volunteers.  As a 95% volunteer organization, volunteers are the key to helping us achieve our mission. You’ll find upcoming volunteer opportunities on our website, https://backpackbeginnings.org/volunteer/. Most of our volunteer shifts occur on Mondays-Fridays between 10:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Our needs in the warehouse change frequently, and all of our projects help us prepare resources for Guilford County children. Some of our regular projects include sorting and hanging clothing donations, preparing Family Bags (bags of food that go out to schools in Guilford County),  shelving donated food, and sorting/displaying toys, books, hygiene items, and household goods. We hope you will volunteer with us soon!
