[EXTERNAL REGISTRATION] Alley Pond Environmental Center Volunteer

REGISTRATION FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS EXTERNAL. Visit https://www.alleypond.org/volunteer.html to register.

The Alley Pond Environmental Center (APEC), a nonprofit environmental education organization, is dedicated to educating children and adults in the New York metropolitan area, protecting and preserving Alley Pond Park, open spaces and waterbodies, and advocating for sustainable environmental policies and practices.

An adult volunteer is a volunteer 18 years old or older interested in gaining volunteer experience, but does not need it to complete a college level course requirement.

To be considered for an adult volunteer position at APEC, candidates must complete the application below and attend a scheduled one-on-one interview with the volunteer coordinator. While Alley Pond is flexible with their volunteer schedule, they prefer candidates who can commit to a particular day of the week and who can commit no less than 30 hours to APEC in a year.
