Camp Lighthouse - Overnight Camp for Grieving Children & Teens

Open Opportunity

About

Cornerstone of Hope offers bereavement camps for children and adolescents who have experienced the death of someone close to them. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with children and teenagers who are coping with grief and loss, providing them with support, guidance, and a safe space to express their emotions.

Camp Lighthouse, August 1-3 2025, is a weekend bereavement camp for children and teens ages 8-17, designed to give children and teens the opportunity to share their grief experiences in engaging and creative ways. Campers will participate in age-appropriate grief activities led by professionals, and also experience nature activities, sports and games, arts and crafts, and more. This camp provides a safe environment for children and teens to process their grief and find comfort in the company of peers who have experienced similar losses.
