The American Heart Association is committed to driving equitable health impact in New York State through five key priority areas: women, COVID-19, tobacco and vaping, patients and healthy living.
Positions Include:
Advocate for Change: Unite to change the future of health. Speak out and speak up every day to advance policies that are improving lives and creating healthier communities.
Become a Heart Walk Hero: Organize an online or in-person team of walkers to support heart health research. You and your team will help raise critical funds in your local community to support life-saving research.
Help Local Women Live Healthier: Attend a Go Red for Women experience to learn more about local campaigns and initiatives that you and your women's networks can support.
Host a Fundraising Event: Create an online fundraiser to support research and heart health patients anytime with our easy-to-use tools. Quickly connect to your social media accounts and activate your networks to help you meet your goals.
Join the Go Red For Women Health Movement: Join local women leaders to promote healthy lifestyles for women through fundraising, education and awareness, and advocacy.
Participate in Life-Saving Research: Help raise awareness about heart disease. We invite you to complete the survey and invite your network to submit their data. We hope to create the world's largest research study on heart health, especially for women.
Support Patients, Survivors and Caregivers: Help caregivers or those living with a heart or stroke condition by sharing your story in the online Support Network! You can submit a blog post or show others they’re not alone by participating in discussions or groups.
