The mission of The Resource Center is to support individuals with disabilities and other challenges in achieving maximum independence, contributing to their community, experiencing lifelong growth, and enjoying quality of life.

Volunteers are needed to share their love and enthusiasm for arts, crafts, music, reading, or other activities with individuals at one of The Resource Center’s day programs or at one of the 30 homes it operates throughout Chautauqua County.

Additionally, opportunities exist at the Lakeshore Drive Day Hab & Clinic located in Dunkirk NY. Volunteers are needed to assist individuals who may use wheelchairs or need assistance navigating from the Day Hab to the Clinic for scheduled appointments that take place Monday – Friday between the hours of 830am and 3pm.

Please note: Some training and background clearance are required.
