Become a volunteer in our Digital Empowerment Program in Maasai Mara, Kenya!

Volunteers have always been a part of Marafiki. In fact, it was through the support and passion of international volunteers that Marafiki Community International was born. With the support of international volunteers, we’re making our vision a reality by combining local knowledge with global perspectives. Together, we’re committed to sustainable, high-quality projects that create a long-term positive impact.

Our Digital Empowerment Program takes place at Anyoraa Camp where volunteers can participate in several programs, many of which complement each other.

Our main goal is to empower the Maasai community, which often doesn’t benefit from tourism as much as expected. They also face unique challenges as they balance traditional ways of life with modern education for their children. 

Available all year round, we run Digital Empowerment workshops for the local youth and children, using a curriculum as a base, but very much open to adding additional activities based on volunteer input!
