Women in Medicine x Days for Girls Menstrual Kit Workshop

Days for Girls is a newly formed club that aims to increase free access to menstrual health products to underserved communities by distributing Days for Girls kits. Each kit come in a drawstring bag and includes reusable cloth menstrual pads made up of colorful shields and liners. Students are encouraged to attend this event to make the liner component of the kit. Students will be able to earn volunteer service hour(s) for contributing their time while also learning about period poverty and the importance of reducing the stigma associated with menstruation. This workshop does not require sewing and is free to all University of Arkansas students.
