RaisingHealth, formerly known as Academy of Medical & Public Health Services, is a not-for-profit health service organization that supports the sustained well-being and self-advocacy of underserved communities.

Short-term and long-term volunteer positions on a variety of initiatives and projects are available. 

Positions Include:

• Community Outreach: tabling events, flyering, and canvassing
• Translation support: written and/or oral
•  Food Distributions: packing food, distribution, line management
• Community Care Team: accompanying older adults and parents for tasks like grocery shopping or getting to and from local senior centers
• Tutoring or classroom aide for ESOL students
• Social media: creating social media graphics + flyers
• Offering clinical services: must be licensed clinical professional
• Fundraising support
